GREEN BAY – Police suspect a woman was driving drunk when she crashed her vehicle into a home early Saturday morning on the city’s east side.
According to Green Bay police, a 36-year-old Green Bay woman drove into a home on the corner of East Mason Street and South Webster Avenue around 1 a.m. and injured a person inside.
The resident was treated by Green Bay firefighters for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The woman was taken to a Green Bay hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Police are recommending the Brown County District Attorney’s Office charge her with operating while intoxicated causing great bodily harm. Officers also cited the woman for driving too fast for conditions, according to police.
